Our beginners Jewellery Making Experiences are a great way to spend time with your family, friends or by yourself and have a bit of "down time".

"Make your own fabulous personal memories" with our Jewellery Making Workshop Experiences by giving the gift of a Gift Voucher.  Just let us know when you make your booking and we will gift wrap up a certificate ready for you to present.  We can also post them direct to the recipient if you would prefer.

No experience is required to enjoy this fun day of jewellery making.

This LUX beginners Jewellery Making Experience combines jewellery making with the warmest of North Down welcomes. Come, enjoy the craic and hammer off some of the frustration of being stuck indoors for so long.

Guided by our goldsmith Ruth, each person will make their own piece of silver or copper jewellery (you choose) to take away.

Each participant on this 'Lux' experience will also receive their own recyclable jute gift bag containing tray bakes with a mini bottle of Prosecco or Nosecco for you to takeaway and enjoy later.

So why not gift this jewellery experience to someone you love, or treat yourself, as we can post your jewellery making gift certificate/s in advance of the workshop.

These are fabulously relaxed and fun experiences, come and spend some quality time with your family and friends on a unique morning out that you won't forget. Then spend the afternoon exploring the Ards Peninsula - we have lots of great recommendations for afterwards.

No experience is necessary for this activity and the memories you make will stay with you forever, as will your new creation.

Max of 3 per workshop, however larger family bubbles can be accommodated by special request. Easy to access by car, train, aeroplane and parking available.

We believe time spent with others critically important to us all mentally, especially now that we've come through a global pandemic and experiencing a financial crisis.  

So come and spend time with your fiancée, putting your creative skills to good use and make a handmade and handcrafted ‘Wearable Wedding Memory’.

Our 3 hour wedding jewellery making workshop is centred around the two of you to spend some quality time together and making something beautiful together.   

The workshops are great craic (fun) and very relaxing.  No previous jewellery making experience is necessary as Ruth (our goldsmith) will guide you through the traditional techniques of piercing, filing, soldering, hammering, cleaning and polishing your special creation.  

So come and relax in our contemporary studio.  You will be able create a basic wedding band (either plain, textured or patterned in silver or gold (price for gold will increase significantly and must be booked in advance). 

All of the workshops are for priced to include silver jewellery so if you want to create your wedding bands in gold, please contact Ruth (ruth@nisilver.com) with your requirements as there will be extra charges for gold and it varies due to the size of the rings etc.

After the workshop and a bit of relaxing, you can take home your magical piece of handmade jewellery, one that you have hand-created yourself in Northern Ireland. 

Based in beautiful Holywood Hills, we are 10 minutes from Belfast's City Airport, a 10-minute drive/train journey from Belfast City Centre, and/or a 7-minute walk from Marino train station. We are also 2 minutes away from The Culloden Hotel & Spa on the A2 Bangor Road.  

Our ‘make, take and wear’ wedding jewellery workshops are very popular and offer a totally unique experience.  With views across Belfast Lough to the hills of Antrim beyond, you can relax and enjoy a well-earned refreshment as your jewellery creation is polishing. 

We also have a beautiful cabinet of pre-made jewellery in our studio, if you are seeking something unique for Mother of the Bride or Groom or presents for bridesmaids or best men.  Hopefully you will find something in there that you would like to gift ie Dark Hedges cufflinks or a Crane necklace.

There are various options for your wedding jewellery making experiences depending on whether you would like to just make your wedding rings or you would like the fully hosted experience including Prosecco, so please discuss with us what you require. 

Once the rings have been made and if there is time before the big day, we can arrange for them to be hallmarked with the Assay Office for an additional cost.  We can also have them engraved with symbols and wording you would like; Ruth can advise you of the expected costs for your engraving designs.

No craft or jewellery making experience is required, just come along and have some fun time creating!

We will need to have a consultation meeting before the workshop where you will decide band width/thickness and we can size your fingers; then we can get the silver or gold ordered in ready for your workshop.
