Collection: Dark Hedges Silver Jewellery
Our Dark Hedges Silver Jewellery started when we were commissioned to create silver jewellery for the Dark Hedges Preservation Trust. Â
A firm favourite with our clients is the cufflinks with the ‘etched’ backs and with ‘The Dark Hedges’ engraved over the top. We can personalise the engraving if you wish, it just takes a little longer.
The beautiful avenue of beech trees was planted by the Stuart family in the eighteenth century as an imposing entrance to their Georgian mansion, Gracehill House, the trees remain a magnificent and much-photographed spectacle.
The Dark Hedges have captured the imagination of many different artists and they reached a global audience after they were used as a filming location in HBO's epic series Game of Thrones Series Two as ‘the King's Road’.
Weather and overuse of the minor road on which they stand have taken their toll, meaning that some of the trees have had to be felled or have blown down in storms - but the wood has gone on to be carved and sculpted into permanent pieces of art, including the famous Game of Thrones Doors.
Our silver and engraved version of the Dark Hedges means that you or a loved one can also have your own piece of this enigmatic beauty spot.
