A solid 925 sterling silver 3D Dark Hedges lapel pin, inspired by Northern Ireland’s famous avenue of beech trees. Hallmarked and available to personalise.

Our Dark Hedges 3D Silver Lapel Pin is inspired by one of Northern Ireland’s most recognisable landmarks, the beautiful avenue of beech trees on the Bregagh Road in County Antrim.

Designed in solid 925 sterling silver, the pin weighs approximately 5 grams and measures around 2cm by 2cm. The 3D design captures the distinctive form of the Dark Hedges, while the etched background creates the impression of looking along the avenue of trees.

Each pin is hallmarked by the London Assay Office, confirming the quality of the sterling silver used.

The outer ring is engraved with “THE DARK HEDGES” as standard, but the pin can also be personalised with your own wording if required, making it an even more personal gift or keepsake.

Part of our MI NI Collection, our range of jewellery inspired by the landmarks, stories and character of Northern Ireland’s six counties. Matching Dark Hedges cufflinks, earrings, necklace, buttonhole and ring are also available, allowing you to create a complete set.

A thoughtful gift for someone living away from Northern Ireland, a visitor wanting to take a little piece of home with them, or for birthdays, weddings and other special occasions. Small and easy to transport, the pin can also be posted worldwide.

Every piece of our jewellery is presented in a biodegradable gift box with a matching gift bag, so we can send it directly to the recipient if required.

The Dark Hedges jewellery collection began with a commission from the Dark Hedges Preservation Trust. This original commission inspired us to develop a collection celebrating this remarkable Northern Ireland landmark, while helping to share the story of the Dark Hedges and the important work being carried out by the Trust to protect and preserve it.

  • The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Ruth was so friendly and accommodating making us feel as if we were her lifelong friends. We loved making our rings (with lots of Ruth’s help of course) and we felt so proud of ourselves. Ruth and Steve welcomed us into their beautiful home and garden and provided us with a delicious array of food and drinks in their outdoor igloo. Overall it was a relaxing, creative and bonding experience which we would highly recommend.

  • If you're looking for that unique treat or experience, then a jewellery making workshop with Ruth at NI Silver is a must! I had such a fun time not only watching Ruth demonstrate her skill, but then making my own bespoke silver ring and of course enjoying Steve's great hospitality. What a perfect day!  Thank you.

    Anne F,

  • My husband and I were gifted a workshop experience and we weren't too sure what to expect, but Ruth at NI Silver made the morning an absolute pleasure. She was knowledgeable and funny, chatting away whilst showing us the steps we needed to do, and then stepping back to let us have a good go! We all had a great time and I would 100% recommend the workshop experience to anyone - I'll definitely be back some time for another go!
