Devenish Tower Silver Earrings
Our Devenish Tower Silver Earrings are solid 925 sterling silver representing County Fermanagh's famous 'Devenish Tower'. These form part of our 'MI-NI' Collection in which I have made jewellery pieces to represent each of Northern Ireland's (NI) six Counties.
Our Devenish Tower earrings are each approximately 2cms (H) by 0.4cm (W). Whereas the actual 6th Century Tower is approximately 30 metres, 100ft, tall and can be climbed by internal ladders if you have the energy. The name translates from Irish, 'Daimhinis' means 'Ox Island' is an island in Lower Lough Erne, County Fermanagh, measuring approximately 1.25 miles long by 0.6 miles wide.
Shown here as drop earrings but 'stud' earrings can also be made. We also sell matching necklaces and charms, perhaps you would like the whole set.
