These stunning cufflinks are not for sale but here is the story of their creation.

Back in 2019 NI Silver was one of the local NI makers invited to put forward items for consideration to be sold within the Store at the Open.

Unfortunately, the option to stock these Silver cufflinks was not progressed by the R&A but we are really proud of these pieces.

We had an amazing time at the Open, as visitors, and got absolutely soaked on the final Sunday in 2019; how did they players keep going in that weather?

The Open returned to Royal Portrush in 2025 and Ruth was invited by Tourism NI to have a display in the 'Golf in Ireland' stand, Spectator Village 1.

Ruth had a great day talking to people about how great NI is to live in and visit and all the great craft experiences there are to experience, including our jewellery making workshops :)

  • My husband and I were gifted a workshop experience and we weren't too sure what to expect, but Ruth at NI Silver made the morning an absolute pleasure. She was knowledgeable and funny, chatting away whilst showing us the steps we needed to do, and then stepping back to let us have a good go! We all had a great time and I would 100% recommend the workshop experience to anyone - I'll definitely be back some time for another go!
